I was supplementing with formula then I was told to only breastfeed because that would help my supply go back up. I did that and he was able to stay satisfied untill 7 pm. I breastfed until 9 and till my nipples were burning and he still seemed like he was starving so I gave him 3 oz of formula and he drank it all and still was hungry so I fed him from the breast again and he went to sleep. He is 3 weeks so I know he’s probably going through a growth spurt. He isn’t only sucking for satisfaction because he is swallowing throught the full 2 hours. I don’t really know how to handle this. Any advise? I’m a new mom and am not sure what I’m doing here or if I am doing things right.
